Pascha (Easter of Christ)
Pascha — the Feast of feasts and the Triumph of triumphs — is the greatest event in the history of our salvation. On this day, the Holy Church proclaims to the whole world the joyful message:
Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and upon those in the tombs bestowing life! The Resurrection of Christ is not only a remembrance of an event that happened over two thousand years ago. It is a living reality that touches each of us today. Christ has conquered death, destroyed the power of sin, and opened the way to eternal life.

Pascha is light that dispels all darkness. It is hope that overcomes despair. It is joy that does not depend on the circumstances of this world. Even in trials and difficulties, the Christian knows: Christ lives — and in Him, we also live.
On the night of Pascha, the faithful gather in church to meet the Risen Lord in prayer. The procession, the Paschal proclamation “Christ is risen!” and the response “Indeed He is risen!” fill hearts with deep spiritual joy.
Pascha calls each of us to inner renewal — to leave behind sin and live in the light of Christ. It is a time of forgiveness, love, and unity. We share this joy with one another, strengthening each other in faith.
May the light of Christ’s Resurrection illumine our lives, filling them with peace, hope, and love.
